Exploring the Dissolution of the Current Education-to-Career Model Until I Get Tired

I was writing, but I got tired of typing, so here is a video!

A little bit of industrialism, a little bit of Einstein (happy holiday to you), a little bit of artificial intelligence.

Post Video Note:

I just did a quick YouTube search, and apparently, this is happening in real time! I am not a super up-to-date with political events person. It is too overcrowded with “noisy data”. I hesitate to post a quick opinion based on the short videos I watched, as I do not believe issues of such can be solved with one swift movement of, “Get rid of the Department of Education!”.

The General Education Board was mainly funded by John D. Rockefeller (Standard Oil guy). His aim was to optimize systems for maximum capitalistic productivity. While some say his aim was also to improve the quality of life for “all Americans”, that “all” seemed to disregard a large population. With the proposals of taking away education from the nation and pushing it onto the parents, it is also important to look at the communities and the current societal environment surrounding parenting.

Not every child has parents who are willing to go the extra mile to give them the type of education that the current capitalistic economic model requires.

Not every child has parents who have the knowledge themselves to give them the type of education that the current capitalistic economic model requires.

This circles into society’s reinforcement of, “What’s mine is mine, what’s yours is yours.” This mindset is seen in the accumulation of external satisfaction, educational achievements, career achievements, etc. I believe it would take a much grander scale shift to actually see educational benefit changes.

With artificial intelligence going into unprecedented territory, communities being extremely disconnected, and {insert whatever 100 other tidbits here}, it is not feasible in my mind to see how the current educational model will be able to carry on in a sustainable fashion.

I shall circle back around to this when I feel called to.
